Flashing – Flashing can be lead sheeting ,colour bond or aluminium. Its role is to protect and seal from water outflow. Occasionally ageing or incorrectly fitted flashing can result of water ingress. The affect can be staining, rot and dampness.

Broken tiles and pointing – Pointing is the adhesive that holds the ridge tiles.
